Again, one of the more popular answers to everything on this list...it
depends. What I love about conversions in Photoshop 7 (and 6 for that
matter) is that you can preview on the fly what the different intents will
look like on the fly. I've found using Relative Colorimetric works for 99%
of my RGB to CMYK conversions. Usually it is images with lots of saturated
colors that just flatten out too much with RelCol (at least for me!), and
then I have to use Perceptual, at the expense of everything in the image
getting crushed to keep the relationship between the colors preserved.
