Hey Stephen you going to have a decision to make soon. Just look at where
the marketing is going with the Eyeone, Color Cue, Spyder Master Spectro,
and old Color Mouse & Colortron.
Won't you want to be a offset printing house, print a CMYK job with process
pantone equivalent correctly specified and then have the customer use a $299
Color Que to verify the job. Color Cue will tell you the closest Pantone and
if its not what was specified in the file. Then What? The delta E variation
of process equivalent Pantones are very close. The device is wrong, 5 of
them are wrong. Now have that debate with Pantone.
There could be lots of money at stake.
