Barry,
The specs (PDF) says this OK 9500 printer supports ICM-color management,
Apple ColorSync color management, standard PostScript CRD type of color
management and OKI's own color management -- which I would think is
comparable to Fiery's. It's quite a feat (are you listening Xerox?)
technically.
Can you briefly comment on the "ICC" capabilities? Say you print from
Photoshop, do you have Printer Specific settings in the Print Dialog box
(cooming from the PPD) where you can specify a Source and Desination profile
of your choice, and a Rendering Intent? Where do the ICC profiles have to
reside in order to be visible? And do the results compare to doing the
conversion right into Photoshop and doing not color management at the
printer?
Kindest regards,

Oki's built-in postscript driver has 4 "color modes": 1.) Okidata Color

Matching, 2.) Postscript Color Matching, 3.) No Color Matching *(for using

custom ICC profiles) and 4.) Print Grayscale. The unit ships with Monaco EZ
