I appologize to anyone that I offended with these comments. I realize I
should have more aptly written "I would like very much to try the
MonacoOPTIX these days -- sounds incredibly promising -- but I can't afford
the $299 Monaco wants for it, right now. I've kindly asked for an evaluation
unit or a discounted, reseller version, but the answer is no".
Please believe me when I say all I wish is to try the package out myself to
be in a better position to advise my clients and offer guidance about it. I
happen to have plenty of other monitor calibration packages at my disposal,
that fully suit my needs, that I am not after another monitor calibration
and profiling package for the sake of collecting monitor and calibration
packages.
Again, my deepest regrets to those I offended on the list (and you know who
you are) with this choice of words.
