It seems to me that a vendor could stand to make a few quid by closely
matching the white point & colour of proofing media for the Epson to that
used by contract proofs systems (Matchprint, etc).
When we simulate SWOP conditions on our Epson 5500/BestColourRIP the printer
has to lay down a fair amount of ink to simulate the Digital Halftone
Matchprint on commercial grade proofing media.
Why make the printer work so hard?
