Making the safe assumption that there are differences in the film base and dyes in 35mm Fujichrome Provia/Sensia vs Kokak Ektachrome (of which there are too many choices), then a much more accurate custom scanner profile could be built for scanning Fujichrome slides than the one I currently (occasionally) use, which was created from an Ektachrome IT8.

Now, if only someone would come out with a Kodachrome IT8... (Wishful thinking, of course.)
