One more thing, always leave BPC off.

I don't think you'll get many people agreeing with this one either!

Say take a PM315 ISO profile, create an Lab wedge, and look whether Perceptual or RelCol BPC opens up the last shadow steps the better.

I wish this level of detail mattered, but there are still all too many stories of folks spending 70 hours on color corrections for one specific output profile only to watch the customer dump the job into a different output process on the 'CMYK is CMYK is CMYK and the cheapest CMYK gets the job' principle.

There are brokerage companies on the web where customers can go to get the cheapest printing. To get ICC workflows up and running, we should all be talking to these people whose business model could maybe with a little luck be turned into an asset rather than an obstacle the way it now seems (alongside native application files as opposed to PDF, Scitex CT as opposed to TIFF etc.)
