Hello there all,
It has been great reading all the posting in the digest. I think I have some
thing for all out there to be able to help me.
I'm trying to create a color copier (Fuji Xerox's DocuColor 1250 with splash
color server-running on Apple's G4) printer profile. I'm currently using the
GretagMacbeth's Eye-One Pro with Eye-One Match. I have no trouble with the
monitor's profile. The tricky part is the color print.
Been through the steps:
1) print the test chart (CMYK) in photoshop (favorite apps for graphic art)
with out any profile (raw) direct from the server (let me know if this is
right - the server is kinda like a hot folder).
2) measure the test chart with Eye-One Pro with Eye-One Match.
3) save the profile in the server's splash folder.
4) then I try to print the same test chart from another workstation via the
server, the result is not quite pleasing (could not come close to the hard
proof).
Do let me know where did I went wrong.
Many many thanks in advance.
Thank you,
Warm regards,
