Yes, you have broken the fundimental rule of DoctorPRO: you need to perform
your corrections in the same type of space that you wish to apply the result
to. If you are going to edit a CMYK profile, then convert your image to that
CMYK profile before recording your action, don't softproof to it. The
directions are quite clear about that.
