Seems clear now, "even if the result is awful, the motivation was right!"
I noticed that as I was printing the "Ole Juanita Banana" calibration image
provided by Adobe on my Epson 2000P.
The top 100% yellow colour patch is greyed in all but in saturation mode. <

Paul - from memory this is an untagged CMYK file, which you will need to
assign your separation profile and then convert to the preferred Epson RGB
working space, in most cases.

I think you need to find or make an RGB target or one made for inkjets - not
press.
