Use one for in field use. Would not be able to work without it. Case is

Mine can only attach to CRT monitors. (Mirroring)

I had mine (mirrored) to a 2060u last week. I was not conscious of the
refresh rate but resolution and millions of colours are accessable.
BTW if you hold the Control key down when accessing the res. (in control
strip) you will get the maximum res options available to your Mac.
