You were surprised that the print wasn't pink - WHY? Do you think for one
moment I would write that stuff without having tried and tested it, used it
myself, seen it written down by many others many times, answered on average
10 emails a day on this subject alone this past two and half years, etc.,
etc., etc., etc., etc.?
There is NOTHING wrong with the profiles, your printer, the driver, the
workflow - the problem is your lack of understanding. The Epson print
preview is showing you what the the profile does to the original RGB values
of your print so that the final print will be correct. If you were to print
the image without the media profile but still using No Color Adjustment mode
it would be dark and greenish.

I can hear Bruce Fraser and David Tobie groan already. This subject is
discussed at nausea week in and week out on other forums and almost
invariably by PC windows users. Your best source of info (assuming you've
decided that what you see isn't real) is the Epson printer list

If you follow the above procedure, what are your results?
The workflow you describe is PC Windows specific - Assuming you used a good
icc profile for the specific printer/media/inkset a good print should be the
result.

NO!

d-Do you have an alternative method for using profiles?
YES! but if the above method has you confused then it would be a brave
person to tell what they are.
