StylusRIP for Windows2000 for an EPSON 3000 on Ethernet?

  • Subject: StylusRIP for Windows2000 for an EPSON 3000 on Ethernet?

I am trying to find a solution to printing to my SC3000 from OSX. I am
especially eager to test the new OSX InDesign 2 color architecture which
sounds light-years ahead of anything else. As you may already know, EPSON
has yet to come up with a carbon version of their driver for OS X -- which,
according to some pundits on this list and elsewhere on the net, they may
very well never get around to it ;)

Is there any merit to EPSON's own StylusRIP running on Win2k to access a
SC3000 connected through a LAN?

Or is iProof the only game in town for low cost PostScript Proofing to an
EPSON other than BEST Designer Edition?

Best regards,

Roger Breton
