hello Michael,
Calibrate your 222 Apple has nothing to do with the use of any RGB working
space in Photoshop.
The best choice for your display is to simulate the 2.2 gamma and the D65
White point.
If you have bad picture over saturated or over contrasted, you have to fix a
good black and a good white adjustement with the contrast and brigthness
control (or calibration software).

In a second time if you want to use a larger space than colorMatch, use Don
RGB ( or similar) more equilibrate and larger than the Adobe RGB, and choose
a 1.8 gamma and a D 50 white point ( or a white point near D50).
