Q: On MacOS X
When I run verify in the CSync utility I get a Hell of a lot of errors.
eg EktaSpace J.Holmes >
Header white is not D5
'cprt' tag has an incorrect length
'cprt' tag contains invalid characters
Ektachrome space J.Holmes
'gamt' reqrd. tag is not present
'cprt' tag contains invalid characters
OptiCal display profile
Header creator is not correct
Header padding is not null
Custom Epson printer profile [Colorflow]
Header white is not D50
FOGRA based profile made with Profilemaker
Header WP is not D50
'pmtr' tag has an incorrect length
'pmtr' tag contains invalid characters
Imacon bundled CMYK
File length is different to header
Header WP not D50
'cprt' tag type not correct
and on and on, over 100 bad profiles listed [I have an alias there of
my 9.1 Colorsync profiles folder] This is somewhat disconcerting since
they pass Colorthink's tests except the Imacon which had a file length
mismatch - Colorthink repaired that part but I still get
error (-39)
Header WP not D50
'cprt' tag type not correct
on all the Imacon CMYK profiles
the utility offers to repair the profiles. But do I really want it to
set the white to D50 on those profiles which were built that way?? And
will it really fix the tags properly?
Best Regards
