Neither ColorBlind Edit or ProfileMaker ProfileEditor allow you to edit TAC.
I've always wanted to be able to edit stuff like that, especially black
generation settings. I'm currently using ColorBlind. To change black
generation I have to go back to ColorBlind Pro, change the black generation
and re-generate the profile. Its the same in ProfileMaker. I'd love to be
able to do this in ColorBlind Edit. There's probably a technical reason why
this can't be done though.
This brings up another idea I've had for a while. Why couldn't profile
generation software store the target info and measurements in the profile?
That would mean that you regenerate a new profile from the measurements
contained in another one. This would be a great way to keep all your
measurements and settings together in one file. Has the ICC ever talked
about this?
