I searched high and wide for a ColorChecker file with data in Lab space or
some tagged, known space other than the xyY which PS cannot handle.
Finally, out of sheer despair I made an image with PS in Apple RGB space,
by typing in the RGB values on the chit with the ColorChecker. The result
is useful to me because it confirms that when I set the screen luminosity
low *my prints look like my screen, when viewed side by side at home* (Big
smile). I don't know how much the result really looks like the real
ColorChecker in D50. However I shall try to post a small version of this
thing on a web site - hope Gretag doesn't nail me for copyright violation
- have a look at

Please forgive me if the above seems nonsense to you - I am new to the
color issues and they are more difficult than I first thought.
Edmund
PS. If someone here can tell me how to get a decent price on an EyeOne
Pro with Match, I am VERY interested.
