Is the Frontier hardwired to SRGB or can it be
hacked/changed to take a
custom profile?<<

In the USA, there are professional and amateur
versions of the software for receiving files for
printing (a kind of RIP). In the amateur version there
are two import channels, one labeled "sRGB" and one
labeled "No Convert". No one from Fuji will provide
any information on the "No Convert" channel, they say
not to use it, and it is not enabled. I have been told
that the professional version does have some support
for ICC profiles, but I don't have any hands on
experience. The pro version is quite a bit more
expensive and is directed towards high volume portrait
and wedding labs, so you are not likely to find it on
your neighborhood Frontier. The software is different
in other countries. I think Rudy Vonk has had some
luck with this.
