There basically is no change. Now be aware that we are still beta testing
the product even though our NDA's are up so little things could change.
There is a new read-out in the info palette that shows the actual colors and
now (if so configured) the values of the file if the Proof-Setup is on and
you are viewing a soft proof. So you could be using Adobe RGB 1998 and turn
on a soft proof for an Epson 1280 and see the numbers you'd get in the info
palette if you did a conversion.
The other minor but welcome fix is that at least in Convert to Profile, all
the settings default to the preferred settings found in the color
preferences. That is, if you prefer Relative Colorimetric to be set in the
color preferences, then that intent will be set in the Convert to Profile
command the first time you use it with a certain profile (after which, it is
sticky). This is true for CMM and Dither. I'm hoping this will also end up
being the case in the Proof-setup.
There are some differences in UI for printing and using profiles but the
features are the same.
There isn't anything new with regard to 16 bit.
