Yes, this works fairly well. In the "Color Management" pane, select
"Document" as Source Space, and select the desired (RGB) profile from the
Profile pop-up menu.
Note that you will usually need to also click the "Printer..." button at the
bottom of the dialog to access the printer-specific driver dialog -- so you
can turn off color management in the Epson driver.
Note that there seem to be known bugs in printing: InDesign doesn't always
like to "retain" the settings in the printer-specific dialog boxes. (I use
"retain" in quotes because that's how Adobe describes it, and I can't figure
out exactly what it saves and what it doesn't save, or when.)
Anyway, I've successfully used InDesign 2.0 to print color-managed
documents.
