Highlight the cyan channel (only channel with an eye) select all (cntrl A)
and copy to the paste board (cntrl C). Create a new file (cntrl n),
greyscale and paste (cntrl V). This will be an exact greyscale of your cyan
channel. I just did it on my PC version (please substitute apple key for
cntrl). Now if you still want to see cyan instead of grey go to
Image>Mode>duotone. Under Type select monotone and double click the ink#1
box ( the black one) and change the numbers to 100,0,0,0.
