gamma on Mac LCD screens

Hi,

Does anyone know whether the default gamma setting on the new flat screen
iMacs is still 1.8?

Is Apple still sticking to it's traditional 1.8 gamma on new devices, or is
there possibility that with the move to digital displays they will switch to
2.2?
