Neil,
Can't comment on the 9500 but I have been using SG inks
for about 12 months on an Epson 1160 with No More Carts
CIS. This works very well as my dedicated 'B/W' machine
but as you implied it is a colour inkset, so to profile
I have built RGB profiles for the variety of papers I
use. I am intending (when time permits) to experiment
by profiling this combo as CMYK with the Best RIP(DE).
I guess it works so well as an RGB device that I get
distracted elsewhere. :-)
I have also profiled an Epson 7500 (Epson Pigmented
ink)with great success but we steared away from the
glossy stock.
Cheers
Richard
