Hello all.
Could someone help me nail this on the head once and for all. I'm designing
some panels that are 2 metres X 4 metres. I'm told they are being printed on
an Inkjet Output device ( I have no other information other than that).
So if I my Photoshop document is full size at 85 LPI - 170 pixels per inch
(working on Litho conventions) it works out at 1367.1 megs.
At 72 PPI it comes in at a respectable 245 megs.
Is there a formula that I can use that will help me work out the right
resolution for a finished size? I know this isn't a Colorsync issue but I'm
sure that some of you work with large format output devices. I would
appreciate any guidance anyone has to offer.
Forgive my ignorance
Sincerely
