I know for a separation I have to do a P2P conversion.
But on opening a cmyk image I expect a different softproof when tagging it
with the before and after profile.

Doesn't doctor pro edit all intents and all tables .. in and out?
Basically I didn't do any real life editing yet. I just pulled a curve to see what happens.
