Yes I find that as the drop size is going down we can up the black in the
profiles. I find this also helps iron out the twists in papers using optical
brighteners as the grey balance is better too. I've been doing this on dye
inks also and it's working out well. PrintOpen can now be set to an earlier
start and wider to the same effect as PM. You may get away with a bit
earlier start with pig inks as the brighter yellow doesn't need as much
colorimetric correcting as dye.
