I have never seen a software this poorly documented and with this many

I hope to find an alternative.
Your experience with Postershop is one of the main reasons I fought
like a rabid puppy not to upgrade from 4 to 5.5. Also the answers on
5.5 I got at the local travelling tradeshows gave me the feeling I
was looking at far too many menus for basic commercial printing needs.
Now we run PhotoPrintServer from Scanvec-Amiable. Poor documentation
but at least it's a straight forward RIP with few eccentric bugs.
Linearization is straightforward. Profiling is an an ABC I'm working
on because the "push button here to profile" doesn't work for me.
And I must be getting soft...I used to be a lot harder on this
software. Maybe working with the Fiery has made me appreciate a few
things about other RIPs.
Good luck...
