True because in Profiler are appeaing only installed printers.
See the section below how to install a direct printer.

5.6 Changed in a the way that only one "Gerneral Queue" is available.
The new PosterShop Client is now called PreFlight. Totally new GUI. Much
more comfortable.

Yes this is it. Its a typical client server principle

As an alternative you can also set up a direct connection from

Right this is under Tools/Printermanager/add/direct/choose modell/adjust it
properly and ready to go.
Don't forget to switch server off then because it would possibly block the
printerport that the particular device uses! (applies to SCSI / Firewire /
LPT / Network)

Yes because PosterShop and its architecture considers them as different
printers nothing to do with eachother.

What I was told by Peter Henry (he's on CC for this mail, I

mind) was that this is a bug in PosterShop.
No I don't mention ;-) This is a bug. It should not happen.

The easier way when having both a Server and a Client library

Yes this is the "official" workaround. For this they consequently don't have
this failure source in the 5.6 anymore. Internally there is only one library
position under the common folder. No extra server libaries are used.

Hope this helps (and did not confuse you even more:-)

Hallo Jo, hast du die mail auch an die ColorSync Liste geschickt. Wenn ja
