I was at Heidelberg West in June training for our PrimeScan D7100. It was
clear that Linocolor was the "old" software, and NewColor is the "new"
software. They had a beta version of NewColor 2.5 for OSX, and the release
version should be out by now. NewColor for PC is still more feature rich.
In my opinion, NewColor is far superior to Linocolor, but If you are unable
to invest in it, I see your difficulty.

Hi Joel...
I currently have Lino 6.0 running a Primescan 7100 (took the
Heidelberg West training last August)...Could you be more specific on
the increase in features between Linocolor 6.0 & Newcolor 2.5,
besides the obvious 16 bit vs. 8 bit output? I'm trying to justify
the $1000 it will cost me to upgrade...
Thanks in advance!
