On top of that the semi gloss could be closer to a paper substrate i.e. no
brighteners, no bronzing. Adding the fact the the ink tank magenta is very
very blue moving the profile around for the huge gamut possible leaves
little choice but to edit the &'!g` out of the profiles to make a simili to
print. Problem is when you edit you also introduce banding as you'll be
dropping levels irregardless of application even those that offer in rip Lab
corrections such as GMG. There are choices to made before during and after
profiling any inkjet. That maybe the fun the is still in front of those who
chose the long road of perfection.
