Bob Frost.
I just re-measured my HP 20ps characterization target after 48 hours, like
you suggested. I had measured it after 1 hours, 4 hours, 18 hours and now 48
hours. Well, I would have thought that the colors would have stabilized by
then but no, they have continued shifting -- what a pain!
And this is using HP's own 'approved' media -- Proofing Semi-Gloss 13x19.
This being said, I am going to make a profile out of those measurements at
48 hours for sure. But, from a methodological standpoint, does that mean
that one should not be looking at the resultant print before 48 hours? To
compare apple with apple and make a critical decision about the quality of
the profile?
