I have to say that I have never been able to get the Fiery RIP to work well with the Epson 5000 and as a result would not consider it to be "very ICC compliant" in any way. I am happy to learn about ways of making it work though.
When we profile a device we turn all color management off, generate profiles and then apply profiles "by hand" in Photoshop to test them. Then, when we are happy with the profiles, we move them elsewhere in the workflow and test them there.
I can make profiles that apply well in Photoshop but have not been able to apply them in the Fiery to get the same results. Ever. I have also not found anyone yet (until you) who has said they have been able to so....
what are we missing here? other than documentation and consensus?
Regards,
Steve
