That means the range of influence of your gray edits varies according to the
resolution (gridpoint count=>spatial density) of the profile.
This part could be a little counterintuitive... Editing a "large" (in
gridpoints) profile, your gray edits are pretty narrow in influence range.
Editing a "small" one, they are wider. That part I don't like... It would
have been nice to have a controllable Chroma range for the gray edits.
