If you're seeing extremely good greys already with inkjets, then your
profiling kits are already doing the job for what you seek. The developers
have worked out graceful solutions to your mentioned problems of inkjets all
along staying within the current limitations of the ICC CM procedures. As I
had said before the profiler kits already give good greys within their scope
including inkjets. The profiler kits I have are not targeted at uniquely
inkjets though and thus leave room for minor corrections (difficult as they
may be to do). The technology behind inkjet printing is fascinating . From
what snippets of info I've read, seen, overviewed, getting one to behave as
a linear device is a topic best left for those few very knowledgeable
creators out there!
