Hi everybody!
Now that I got it all straightened out and ready to build my profiles and
all, here is what I read in "Le Photographe" by Girard Niemetzky :
(roughly translated)
"there are no tools to linearize ('linearize=calibrate' as opposed to
'caracterize=build profile') the printer with the (Epson) printer driver or
low cost profiling kits."
and then :
"only professional RIP's offer these (linearization) tools."
All right, then, my Q? is : what can I buy for a reasonable price ?
Should I get a Postcript RIP for my Epson 1270 or are there non-Postscript
RIPs and by the way does Postscript have anything to do with this problem ?
Obviously (I seen that with me own Oyes!) it has to do with the amount of
black...
Thanx
