Or you can use ProfileCity's ChromaCapture S software in conjunction with
their Print profilers. ChromaCapture S saves spectral information instead of
converted colorimetric data based on the unrealistic D50 illuminant. Great
way of dealing with metamerism issues of light boxes that don't really
conform to D50 or any conditions that don't meet D50 standard. (99.9% of the
time!)
Measure the printer characterization chart saving spectral information.
The spectral data can then be converted to any measured illuminant or
reference illuminant in their print profiler.
Gee, I wonder who is finally going to use the spectral measurement option
they introduced in their update but didn't provide any documentation for how
and why you would want save spectral data instead?
