you bypass all of the monitor front panel push buttons and tweak those items through the
software.


This cable you mention, have you had experience with it? Can it be used to control the geometry of non LaCie monitors, and also older LaCie electron19Blue monitors. (Not II or II)

I know it is supposed to control the guns rather than the video card for profiling color.
