Once Jack had created the profiles for the various papers/settings, I
tested them out by printing the PDI Target Image. I'd have to go back
and check, but I don't recall blocked up shadows like I'm getting now.
Are you saying that the PDI Target is an unreliable test image? Is there
one that you feel works better at testing the limits of one of these
inkjets? Can "synthetic" color or ramps, generated in Photoshop, be a
good way to check printing characteristics?
