In a studio environment (i.e. multiple light set-ups, light modifiers,
uneven and directional lighting, etc.) there can be so many set-up variables
from shot to shot as to render a profile made for one set-up useless with
another. Also, getting a clean, accurate shot of a target to create a
profile can be extremely difficult, if not impossible, in some lighting
situations (e.g. back-lighting). Making digital camera profiles seems to be
easier and more accurate with lighting situations that are consistent from
shot to shot and do not present problems to capturing the target like
reflections or glare (i.e. copy set-ups, art repro set-ups, etc.)
