I am not sure about a guideline per se, except be sure to linearize
before profiling. We just did some testing with the Gretag Lightjet and
Duraclear material. The profile was amazing and the gamut was
incredible. Here was the "setup":
Custom Linearization with Onyx Postershop v 5.6
ICC Profile generated with ColorBlind Professional Mac v 4.2
Spectrophotometer X-rite DTP-41UV/T
**Resultant profile was used in Postershop as "Output Profile"
**RGB and CMYK Vector and Bitmap all used embedded profiles with
Postershop set to "Recognize Embedded Profiles" as "Input Profile".
