CM error

I'm using the antiquated Polaris software with a Howtek 4500. Whenever I
have Polaris do any color management besides embedding, I get an error message-

CWMatchBitmap not found

I suppose it may not like newer ColorSync versions, but I'm wondering if
anyone here would know why it's not finding what it's looking for, or
how I can rectify the problem.
