DTP-41 Calibration Certificate

Hello,
I have a 2 year old X-Rite DTP-41UV. The calibration certificate indicates
that after 2 years I should have X-Rite re-calibrate the device. Is it
likely that the device will lose much accuracy after 2 years? What factors
would cause the device to lose accuracy?
