I guess I'd like ONE place in the OS to do this picking of
profiles, not two. The ColorSync control panel is as good a place as any. So
perhaps not having the ability to deal with profiles in Display would make
things a bit easier on the end user...
I am so with Andrew on this one.
It would make more sense to allow one panel to determine the
preference of Display 1 (System profile), Display 2, etc., or simply
remove the 'redundant display panel.' There could and should be only
one.
And for these particular types of system settings, color etc., OSX
should file sync with the native OS9.x. This would keep Apple up
front in the ease of good use department and probably get me into
OSX.x at work.
