No, it's asking for the display profile and the OS is returning the
display profile, which is set in the Displays pane. The ColorSync pane's
Display pop-up is actually the System Profile. It's just confusing UI is
all.

Photoshop 6 definitely supports multiple display profiles, so I assume
Photoshop 7 does too although I haven't tried it. I'm not sure if it
works on OS X though.
