My printer is an Epson 7000. My inks are custom (really hextone, not

I'm not using Jon Cone's plugin or Colorbyte's ImagePrint RIP, but other

If you were to use a RIP instead of the Epson driver you could build a
single table CMYK (Quad black) profile from within Photoshop. You can create
a CMYK ICC profile using quad black using Photoshop's custom CMYK option.
Simply measure the solid colors with a spectrophotometer and list them in
the ink color field. Create dot gain curves for each color and you should be
there. Use this Quad black (CMYK) profile as a destination in conversion.
