If you turn the Simulation off you use the output profile.
For using the full gamut of the Printer you can try "Match Copy", but this
setting is not recomended, the printer is not stable enough.
The Rendering Style is only used for the internal RGB to CMYK separation.
With AutoCal you create an output profile.

You have to use the absolute Rendering Style with real newspaper in the
copier tray.
The Paper simulation is supported on the new ColorPASS Z650 (Z5/ Z18) with
GA Features.
I recomend you for proofing issues to use the ColorWise Features to create
the output profile with on of the supported X-Rite devices or AutoCal.
The paper simulation should be made on a workstation or colorserver for
older RIPs.
