Roberto, I agree.
The problem is that a lot of US organizations describe the ISO 12647 as
"eurostandards". That's wrong.
Adobe did also use that name to differentiate SWOP and Gracol from ISO 12647.
By doing this they however increased the confusion.
ISO 12647 is international set of standards but it lacks support from some
important US organizations.
The latest set of Gracol standards (version 5.0 from 2001) however uses ISO
12647 components too.
David Q. McDowell, one of the most experienced consultants on standards (
email@hidden, email@hidden or email@hidden) could
comment on the Gracol/ISO 12647 issue.
He is pushing and pushing and pushing........
