I am wondering if anyone knows of a simple program that will identify the
profile attached to an image file. I don't need it to do any conversion,
just identify which profile is currently embedded in the image file. I know
the new Photoshop 7 File Browser provides this info, but I am still using
Pshop 5.5. Currently the only way I've found to be able to "verify" the
embedded profile of my image files is to "Place" them into an InDesign
document and the choose the "Link Info" from the Links palette. This works,
but it is pretty cumbersome to use over a large number of files.
If anyone knows of any software that could identify embedded profiles in
image files, I would greatly appreciate hearing from you.
Thanks for your time and attention.
