when I print a black and white picture with my Epson 2100 in color mode on
archival matt paper using Epson's profil the print is not neutral but
greenish in the midtones.
Ihave greated a RGB profil in PrintOpen 3.0.1 using the digital swatchbook
with the proper paper setting and "no color adjustments" for the print of
target.
No luck, green all over, much worse than the Epson profil. The green cast
also shows in the first grey ramp of the RGB target (on my monitor) when
measuring online within PrintOpen, but obvious the digital swatchbook or
PrintOpen seem not to recognize it as that.
Anybody had good luck profiling the Epson 2100/2200 and could give me a
hint? (I have neither eleven hundred hours to spend on tuning around nor do
I have the knowledge of Bill Attkinson ;-)
I am considering to get the Epson 9600 with ultrachrome inks and are
concerned about the ability to profile the machine.
thank you - Gerhard
