ProfileMaker Pro / Jaguar

I've run the Terminal commands to disable the problematic USB driver, rebooted, then downloaded the latest version of ProfileMaker Pro 4.1 from the Logosoft ftp site, but ProfileMaker still only loads in demo mode.
Also, my dongle is no longer illuminated. Can anyone point me to the solution for this?
